photography sketchbook
|
objectiveYou will be creating a portfolio sketchbook that explores ideas and design aesthetics. Professionalism and quality of entries are of the utmost importance. Choose a sketchbook that reflects your personality and interests. I use Moleskin Sketchbooks - they are expensive but really amazing to work with. You might want to get a plain black sketchbook and decorate it yourself. Sketchbooks will be available for purchase.
Start printing out pictures for inspiration, artists you like, magazine clippings, past work that inspires you, cool drawings or doodles you've made etc. process

Students will be responsible sketchbook entries, research, double entry journal responses, following the design process, revision of work and collaborative critique with fellow students.
