course overview
Course goals:
Understand the technical aspects of photography, explore the story telling and narrative properties of photography
Demonstrate knowledge of computer manipulation of photographs and the pre-production, production, post-production of professional photography
Be able to solve design problems, camera positions, lighting and textures, and isolate subject matter.
Be able to use the tools and commands of iPhoto, Adobe Photoshop CS5, and other software effectively
Be capable of visualizing and executing photoshoots
Make efficient use of time, posting work regularly and learning to cultivate a more complex visual vocabulary
developing and strengthening digital art skills
Revision and reflecting of your work and and the work of others in a supportive and articulate way.
